Shipping Policy
For orders up to 2.99kg within Australia we offer a flat shipping rate of $16.90 for orders 3kg up to 5kg within Australia we offer a shipping flat rate of $21.80 for orders over 5kg up to 10kg, we offer shipping at a rate of $28.90 (regular speed). For orders being shipped express we offer a flat shipping rate for orders up to 5kg of $25.10(express post).
For orders over 5kg, we will contact you with a shipping cost before shipping.
We will contact the customer for orders over 5kg to agree shipping costs prior to posting. The customer reserves the right to adjust or cancel the order to reduce shipping costs, any cancellations for change of mind will be issued with a gift card to the value of the cancelled items per our cancellation policy.
Customers outside Australia are required to contact us prior to placing an order to discuss shipping.
Delivery of your Products
We attempt to ship within five (5) working days of receipt of your order and we will make every effort to complete your item according to this.
Shipping will be with Australia Post.
Due to delays with Australia Post delivery may take up to 20 business days from the date of your order depending on your location. We do not guarantee that the delivery will arrive within this time frame due to transit times with Australia Post and any delays are beyond our control.
Please be aware that Kathari Botanicals is located in New South Wales and delivery times to areas beyond the Eastern states or remote locations can be extended. Kathari Botanicals does not offer refunds or discounts due to delays in shipping caused by Australia Post.
The estimated delivery times are in business days (Monday to Friday) excluding public holidays. Current delivery time frames as stated by Australia Post:
ACT – 1-2 days (Express), 2-3 days (regular post)
NSW – 1-2 days (Express), 1-3 days (regular post)
NT – 4-5 days (Express), 5-9 days (regular post)
QLD – 2-3 days (Express), 3-6 days (regular post)
SA – 3-4 days (Express), 3-5 days (regular post)
TAS – 2-3 days (Express), 4-7 days (regular post)
VIC – 2-3 days (Express), 2-5 days (regular post)
WA – 4-6 days (Express), 5-8 days (regular post)
Contact should be made with Australia Post if a delivery is delayed or an item seems to be missing. All orders have a standard cover of $100 as per Australia Post guidelines and reimbursement in case of the item being missing will be directly through Australia Post. We will of course provide all necessary information to the customer to ensure a claim can be lodged.
Unless otherwise agreed by us, we will deliver your products to the address indicated on your order confirmation. If no-one is available to take delivery of your item, our carriers will leave a card so you can pick-up your product from your local post office. Title and risk of loss to all products will pass to you on delivery.
Please ensure that the correct shipping address is entered. If a delivery is returned to us, Australia Post will charge a return fee which will be charged to the customer. Re-posting your order to the correct address will incur new postage charges also to be paid by the customer in full (not flat rate).
Tracking information will be sent directly to your email. However, our business name may not always be mentioned. We will usually change your order status to sent when booking postage/packing the order – this will make it easier to connect the tracking advice. Please ensure to check your inbox and spam folder for the tracking email before contacting us to enquire about tracking.
Local delivery and pick up
As we do not currently have a click & collect location, any click and collect requests should be made before your order is made.
Christmas orders
Christmas is a very busy time for us and processing time of your order may increase to up to 14 business days. We however will endeavour to post your order as quickly as possible.
Please factor extended order processing times in when placing your Christmas order and selecting postage. Christmas cut off dates will be posted by the 1st of November 2024.
